Just because a window is on the WERS NFRC database doesn’t mean that AWA has actually got someone to run things through the LBL software to produce the absorption and reflectance curves and the other parameters that the thermal simulation engine requires, and then made that data available to the CSIRO, or that it has been passed on to me. The simulation engine uses a more sophisticated approach than simply applying a SHGF and U value. A better approach is to get the simulation results you are after using the generic combination of glass and frame and then do a search to find proprietary windows that have similar SHGC and U values.
