Scarborough is smaller campus and that comes with a lot of advantages but it also means that generally most courses are only offered in a single slot at any given time and sometimes those courses are going to conflict, especially when they are from different disciplines that normally dont have a lot to do with one another. If you are doing something like a double major in chemistry and political science you have to be prepared for the possibility of some conflict. Disciplines that commonly cross into each other (economics and management, for example) will schedule around each other to avoid obvious conflicts but otherwise its just a simple reality that some courses will be happening at the same time as other courses.
