I want to study in spain, but i dont speak spanish. are there universities in spain that teach in english?
I have had a home in Spain for many years. I don’t know of any universities that are totally English speaking. However, Spain is a big place and I am not sure. What I would say is that English is taught seriously here at school from around 9 yrs and certainly most of the younger generation speak really good English. Probably though at a Spanish university it could hinder your studying as Spanish being the first language of the country the lecturers normally would speak in Spanish. Lots of language students come here for a year or more whilst studying to get a firmer grasp of the language. I am sure you would pick up Spanish if you were constantly in the company of Spaniards but to study with no knowledge of the language I imagine would indeed be difficult.
