I want to start Resistance Stretching. What is the best way to begin?
Reading The Genius of Flexibility by Bob Cooley is a good start. But it’s difficult to learn by the book alone, so be sure to attend a workshop or book a private session to nail down the concept of resisting while stretching. Private assisted stretching sessions are recommended in order for me to give you an idea of where your body is in terms of its strengths and weaknesses, as well as discuss your goals. You can also attend weekly self-stretch classes to increase your flexibility in between private sessions and stay connected to others who practice RFST.
