Don’t listen to the other people. I bought my first stock when I was 12, with my father’s help. Have your parents open a joint/custodial account with you. I used Scottrade as my brokerage so I know they do it. They have $7 commission fees per trade, and no other fees for normal maintenance, etc., which is the lowest I’ve seen. They are large and well-respected, but you may decide to pick another one, which is fine. Just be sure to get a custodial account. Also, I suggest reading as much as you can on investing before you blindly buy anything, you lose money just as easily as you can make it, but most people people only dream of their profit and not their potential losses. Do research. Sites like finance.yahoo.com and fool.com are great. Another thing, you should check to see what the minimum deposit is for ea. brokerage and pick one depending on the amount of money you have to invest. Also, on that note, think about $7 commissions. That means if you have $500 to invest, to buy will cos
