I want to see all the brown & white male dogs born in 2006. Can I search on multiple fields?
In Step 3, there is a link to a multiple field advanced search page. On that page there four fields in Step 3 you can search on. Leave blank any you don’t want to use. To see all brown & white males born in 2006, enter M in the Sex field, br&w in the Coat Color field, and 2006 in the Birthdate field, leave the Dog Name field blank. Then click on the search now button. What does COI = 17.2%[10G,10F,400U,91C] mean? COI is Wright’s Coefficient of Inbreeding. It is a measure of how related the parents of the dog were. What is considered high or low varies with breed. Dr Armstrong’s work showed that for Standard Poodles the average COI was around 15%. That means that for Standard Poodles low would be under 15% and high would be above. In general it is considered “safer” to have lower than average COIs, but that is no guarentee against inherited diseases. The codes after the COI are G – number of generations in computation, F – number of full generations found in the pedigree, U – number of
