At present, no pictures that precisely satisfy this request exist. We may soon have a few better pictures and that information will be posted on this web site. In addition, anyone who has requested the images will be contacted. However, artists should keep in mind that precise color matching is not necessary for this stage of the competition. The judges will be made aware of the inherent difficulties in obtaining precise color swatches or images. The finish is applied by a local contractor, not the panel manufacturer, and the finish may vary slightly from panel to panel. In addition, the patina is a “living finish” that will itself change colors over time. Thus an exact color match is virtually impossible.
