I want to make a waterblock with DiaCu can I machine it?
DiaCu can be cut only with high power laser or with wire-EDM for cemented versions of DiaCu. In higher thermal conductivity versions of DiaCu, only high power laser can be used to cut through the thickness, as the embedded diamond grains are very large. DiaCu can not be drilled; holes must also be cut with wire-EDM or laser. If you attempt to use diamond blades or metal equipment to cut or drill DiaCu, it will damage your equipment. ADS will handle all post processing, unless the customer demonstrates laser or EDM capabilities.
