I want to learn more about Noise Ninja Profiles. Why are Bibble profiles different from those from Picture Code?
Noise Profiles are statistical descriptions of the noise patterns that is typical of each camera at a given ISO sensitivity. Bibble includes profiles for many cameras at all ISO settings supported by the camera, and Bibble will auto-select the proper profile when the Noise Ninja tool is enabled. You don’t need to create profiles for cameras that Bibble already has profiles for. Bibble Noise Profiles and Picture Code noise profiles are in different formats and are not compatible. This is because Bibble operates on linear, RAW data, while Picture Code operates on pre-converted images. For this reason, you cannot use profiles created for one application in the other.
