Till the time you clear the written exam everybody is equal. Once you clear the written examination the differentiation starts. Again all these depends upon the institute policy. For example: IIM Ahmedabad prefers fresh graduates rather than experienced one. IIMB & IIMC also prefers a combination of Fresh graduates and experienced one. Experienced person gets some weightage in interview where institute policy is in their favour. But if you talk about Indian School of Business, Hyderabad which offers one year MBA programme only takes experienced ones. That too more than two years. The average batch experience varies between three to seven years. It conducts its own entrance examination. (Cost Rs. 16 lakh) Again if you want to do part time MBA from any of the institute (IMT- Ghaziabad, MDI – Gurgaon, FMS-Delhi, XLRI- Jamshedpur, IGNOU etc.) you should possess a three years experience.
