No. The intent of the competitive grants is to fund energy efficiency & renewable energy programs that will have statewide impact. First-party, single-site installation projects should seek funding through the upcoming rebate program or the existing state tax credit. Exceptions to this statement may occur in the case of large, utility-scale renewable energy applications and large industrial employers, where a significant impact on jobs creation or jobs retention is judged to have a statewide benefit.
