I want to get my ears pierced but im scared , does it hurt ?
Depends on how you do it, and where you’re piercing. I assume that you are piercing your lobes…and no, it doesn’t hurt. Maybe a quick pinch, and that’s the end of it. Not as painful as poking your finger with a tack, if that’s any measure. You’ll see people getting it done flinch generally because of the piercing gun that they use at places like Claires and Afterthoughts. The sound is LOUD (being right next to your ear)…and that’s why a lot of young children cry (shock, not pain) when they get them done. My only recommendation is when the piercer tells you to hold still, do so. Do NOT jerk your head away when that sound goes off, as something could snag and it just wouldn’t be pretty. Hold your head still, close your eyes if you want, and just relax. It does not hurt.
