Per Fujitsu, this scanner like their other video scanners except the M3099A, has a control register setting that must be changed. Control register number 2, bit 0 is defaulted to “0” to enable the detection of paper jams. If this bit is set to “1”, the scanner can scan very long documents but you will not detect paper jams.
