I want to create a NetLibrary account but I don see “Create a Free Account” anywhere on the NetLibrary page. Now what?
This means that you have not been authenticated as a Timberland patron by the NetLibrary system. This happens if you go directly to the NetLibrary site by clicking on a Favorite or Bookmark or by typing in NetLibrary URL. To create a free account, you must connect to NetLibrary from Timberland’s Reference Databases menu. (If you already have a NetLibrary account, you can log in.) This also can happen if you connect to NetLibrary from the Reference Databases menu but are blocking access to 3rd-party cookies with a software firewall such as Norton Internet Security or Zone Alarm. If you encounter this problem, you can temporarily solve it by disabling the Privacy service in your firewall. For information on configuring a software firewall to allow access to 3rd-party cookies, please see section 3 in Reference Databases Help.
