I want to compete in the Games and then tour on vacation in Canada. What is the best way to handle my firearms?
Once you have finished competing and no longer require your firearm, the simplest method to deal with it is to have it shipped home. We will have a CBSA official at the venue on the last day of competition who will assist you with the paperwork, and we will then arrange shipment through our Customs Broker. The second method is to keep your firearm at the central 2009 WPFG armory. Once the competition venues finish, the on-site armories will be closed, and all firearms that remain will be brought to the central armory. The location for the armory will be published at a later date. The items may be picked up upon completion of your touring no later than August 21, 2009. If you intend to leave your firearms in this central armory, you must make arrangements with 2009 WPFG competition staff prior to the end of competition at that venue. These arrangements will include date and time for pickup from the central armory. Once you pick up the firearms from the central armory, you must take them
