I want to buy something from Ebay. What should I know?

When you wish to buy something on Ebay, search for what you want and then look at the listing to see the the seller’s rating. Each time there something is sold, the buyer leaves feedback about the person who sold it. Many sellers have 100% positive, so that means that no one who bought from them had a problem. There is a number next to the seller like this (76) and that number is how many items they have sold on ebay. If your item is expensive, you should check with the seller about insurance. If it is lost/damaged, most sellers will let you return the item, (you will have to pay return shipping) and they will refund your money. When you are bidding on an item, read everything carefully and if you have a question, you can ask the seller and they will answer your question.

No symbol, besides to say the seller accepts payment through paypal – most do. You just have to believe the seller. Paypal is just the payment system. Ebay is just the site in which sellers use so they wouldn’t have any say in whether an item is authentic or not. I’ve never had any bad experiences. Always use paypal to pay, always check the feedback, check the description has everything you need to know and look carefully at any photos. If it is not as described you can open a dispute and get your money back. For losses it depends – paypal may pay you back.
