The Car Cover Lock features a vinyl-covered cable for securing your car cover to your vehicle. This cable is designed to be safe for your paint and other finishes. Every car cover comes complete with heavily reinforced, non-scratch grommets and tie down loops. These grommets are placed at the midpoint of the vehicle cover (lengthwise) and roughly 2″ from the bottom of the car cover. In order to install the lock and cable, simply run the cable through one of the grommets, under your vehicle, and then through the second grommet. Seal the lock and the car cover is secure-it’s that easy.
