To be an occultist means that you must get to know your self at the most deepest levels of your being and to see your self as a living divine soul who comes from a very high source.Then you must use all of your insight to the helping of others who are seeking the way .The true occultist is a leader of sorts and is one who Can be depended upon for giving people guidance in spiritual matters..There is as well a dark side of the occult which is a very unhealthy and which deals with black magic and sorcery of the worst kinds and those who are involved in such practises have their bad karma awaiting for them in future times.
start by learning math especially geometry, search things like Hemertica, Tarot, and Magick, occult science produces its own questions as you go along, and you search for the answers, it is not an event but a way of thinking that is developed over a lifetime. if you are looking for a fashion like goth or some sort of hollywood styled holloween friek show you have joined the mass that has misunderstood what the occult really is. plain and simple it is to dare to understand yourself and the world you live in, in great detail. to use that knowledge to better yourself and help others, to believe in yourself so as to try things other people do not have the courage to try, and to keep secrete what you learn from people that would missuse it to harm or cheat others, good luck in your quest.
