You have 3 options. Solar, gas or electric. We carry an excellent line of high-efficiency gas and electric heaters. Solar heating offers the attraction of “free heat.” Once you install the system, your costs to maintain it are negligible, and since Florida is the Sunshine State, we highly recommend this option for clean, efficient energy. We use a very reputable contractor for our solar heating installations. Solar heating systems generally range from $2,000 to $4,000, depending on the size of the pool, the spa and whether you choose a manual or fully-automated heating system. You can add a solar energy storage system to your current pool, increasing its value and as a result, of course, your overall property value will also go up.
