If you think you ve already covered the material in this unit, you may wish to apply for an exemption. You need a “Recognition for Prior Learning” form from your course coordinator. The Unit Coordinator for Human Biology makes the decision based on the evidence you present, so you will be asked for copies of the syllabus from the other unit you have done and your academic record. I have an anatomy licence from UWA when I studied there three years ago The Anatomy Act has been amended, so your licence from UWA no longer applies. You must be authorised by the Curtin School of Biomedical Sciences so that you can study anatomy. Your permit lasts for the duration of your studies at Curtin.
