If you fall behind in your payments, contact us right away. We can t stop enforcing your payments or lower the amount you owe but we will work with you to develop a plan for paying the arrears in addition to making your regular maintenance payments. You may also want to consider applying for a new court order or agreement, based on your new financial circumstances. We cannot do this for you. It is your responsibility to pursue a new court order, and in the meantime we are required to make sure you pay the maintenance you owe. To change your maintenance order or agreement, we recommend you talk to a Child Support Guidelines Officer. The Child Support Guidelines Office is located at the Family Law Centre in Charlottetown and at the Prince County Court House in Summerside. Their services are free. Please call the Child Support Guidelines Office at 902-368-6220 or 902-888-8188. To find a lawyer, try calling the Lawyer Referral Service. They will give you the name of a family law lawyer you
