CLUTCH OIL Hello Rand, Since the material is as close as I could get to the original, it should use the “normal” clutch oil as recommended by Franklin. For cold weather, 50-50 Medium Marvel Oil and Kerosene was recommended. I always assumed that Medium Marvel oil was somewhere around 20 to 30 weight but have no real info on that. I First tried 5W20 and it was a bit too thick. Then went with 75% 5W20 and 25% kerosene and that works much better. I believe Tom used 50-50 Kerosene and 30 Weight oil with the new plates. Bottom line. If it works, use it. THe Clutch will let you know if it is too thick by excessive slip on upshifts. I checked my steering box mounts.
