I used my (insert ps2 dvd game) disk as a TOC to try and boot my backup of (insert ps2 cd game), and it didn work, even though it was bigger in size, why?

Woah, this won’t work, the TOC disk must be the same type as the backup, so if your backup is a cd based game, you must use a cd game for a TOC disk.(most cheat disks are cds, not dvds) The same goes for DVD backups, you must use a retail PS2 DVD disk for the TOC.
