Here’s how it works: First, Paypal will transfer the purchase amount from your credit card to your Paypal account, which shows up as a “Transfer From Credit Card” with a positive dollar amount (like $1.99) added to your Paypal account. Then, they send the same amount to the developer you have purchased from, which shows up as a “Payment To” the developer’s paypal account – this amount is shown as a negative dollar amount (like -$1.99) from your Paypal account.
