You can try installing Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 or .NET version and then do accordingly as per given instructions. Otherwise, you can use Cygwin (Linux Emulator) and then install SystemC within the emulator. But if you are more comfortable with ModelSim and not any other, try using ECS virtual private network to connect to Lab PCs after the working hours (after 5PM). Please note that we do not have names of the Lab PCs but for Virtual Private Networking please follow ECS instructions. After you are connected to VPN, you can then use ModelSim exactly in way you have used in the Lab.
