Skype, YM and Google Voice require both parties to have computers and broadband internet access for them to talk to each other at cheap rates. SMART Plug N’ Talk, however, does not require both parties to have computers and internet access. Only the SMART Plug N’ Talk subscriber overseas needs to have a computer and internet access for them to engage in voice calls and text messages at affordable rates with their loved ones in the Philippines. The other person in the Philippines simply needs to have a either a mobile phone, or a landline.
