What you can try is: • Go to Tools -> Internet Options, click on the Security tab • Click on the button “Custom Level…”. • In the box that opens, go down the list and find the section “Downloads”. • Check if “Automatic Prompting for file downloads” and “File Download” are set to “Enable”. If not – set them and try again. You can also look out for the yellow information bar that appears at the top of the browser, warning that it has blocked the file downloading. If it appears you will not be able to download the file. Making the described changes should fix that.
