No, IU WorldCat does not use MARC tags to construct searches, it uses indexes.Indexes may contain more than one MARC tag. Indexes may be used to limit a keyword search, i.e. typing ti: title of book .If you do not know the index code, use the Advanced Search to narrow to author, title, subject, ISSN, ISBN, etc. I have a keyboard on my computer that allows me to look for the non-Roman characters in Chinese (or Japanese or Russian or Arabic or other languages that use a non-Roman script). It does not work when I search IUCAT.Will it work to search IU WorldCat? IU WorldCat will allow you to search in non-Roman languages using specialized computer keyboards for languages that do not use a Roman script.
