I use MARC tags to limit my search in IUCAT, is this possible in IU Worldcat?
No, IU WorldCat does not use MARC tags to construct searches, it uses indexes.Indexes may contain more than one MARC tag. Indexes may be used to limit a keyword search, i.e. typing ti: title of book .If you do not know the index code, use the Advanced Search to narrow to author, title, subject, ISSN, ISBN, etc. I have a keyboard on my computer that allows me to look for the non-Roman characters in Chinese (or Japanese or Russian or Arabic or other languages that use a non-Roman script). It does not work when I search IUCAT.Will it work to search IU WorldCat? IU WorldCat will allow you to search in non-Roman languages using specialized computer keyboards for languages that do not use a Roman script.
