Unfortunately it has been brought to our attention that IE6 (Internet Explorer Version 6.X) and some of the other latest generation of browsers no longer support simple mailto forms. You must use cgi or one of several other types of coding which are covered in more advanced classes here at LVS. Because so many of the students are using free webhosts which do not allow cgi access, we do not cover that in this class and ask that you do not use cgi based forms or other coding formats for your assignment pages but stick to straight HTML 4.01 coding for the lesson.
