I use GMail. Will Dabra prevent the Google content scanner from being able to read my email?

Yes. Dabra messages will appear to the Google server as encrypted attachments on a standard GMail message. The Dabra email will only be decrypted within the Dabra client window. The Google content scanner will not see the Dabra message, and the message will never be saved unencrypted on Google’sservers.
