A. That’s correct, your keys do get attached to the Smart Key tags but there are a number of options for you to choose from. You can attach the key(s) directly to the tag using the stainless steel shackles provided and in the event of a key being lost or broken or a lock is changed, you simply cut through the shackle, attach a new key to a new shackle and insert it into the original Smart Key tag. This procedure can be performed a maximum of three times, afterwhich, you will need to purchase a new Smart Key tag. Alternatively and the most common method used by the majority of our clients is to lock the stainless steel shackle into the Smart Key tag without a key and then attach your keys to the shackle using a very in expensive tamper-proof and tamper-evident key seal. This way you change keys as often as you need to at minimum cost. To be ver honest we very rarely hear of any Keywatcher clients experiencing broken keys or lock changes but this may be because the majority of our client
