I try to send mail through the iTools SMTP server (sendmail), and I get an error stating “Relaying denied”. What gives?
As of sendmail 8.9.3, the default operation for sendmail is not to relay messages. We have added in recent version of iTools a file in the /etc/mail directory called relay-domains. In this file, list all hosts for which you want to relay mail for. Ideally this would include one or two domains clients log in from to access your mail server.
