I try to direct link to your pics on a forum/website but they don work.What am I doing wrong?
The problem is the site has “hot linking” turned off. Hot linking is when you try to direct link to a picture that’s on another site. The reason for turning hot-linking off is to save a site from being shutdown for going over it’s bandwidth limits. Every time a direct link pulls a pic from a site it adds to the bandwidth used on that site. This site regularly goes right up against it’s bandwidth limit almost every month so I have to turn hot linking off. The only way to do it is to use a service like TinyPic that allows hot-linking.
