I tried to load a simple photo (from a picture CD) into my File Cabinet, but found that it is huge! How can I reduce its size?

If you do not have image editing software, such as Photoshop Elements, try inserting the image into another program like Word or PowerPoint. Open one of these programs and click on Insert/Picture/From File. Locate the image on your computer and insert it into Word or PPT. You will then be able to click on the corners of the image and shrink it to fit the page, as well as add any label or caption (not required). Save the document to your computer, go back to your File Cabinet in the DP, click Add File, and select the Word or PPT file. The size is much more manageable now. You can also add more pictures and make a mini-slide show!
