I tried installing the MP10, MR101 or MP30 and Windows did not recognise the device. What do I do?
Sometimes this does happen the first time the player is connected, if the driver was not installed in the correct order. Disconnect the player from the PC. Open Control Panel and select the Add / Remove Programs icons. Uninstall the Groove software. Reinstall the Groove software. Plug in the MP3 player. The device should be automatically detected and installed. It may be necessary to click OK to continue the installation. Start the Groove software. The Player should be detected and show the tracks loaded. Other problems which could cause this are: Virus infection in the PC has corrupted some of the system files. Other USB devices have been installed which have overwritten the standard Windows drivers. Hardware or software problems with the USB host controller chipset or driver. It is worth checking with Windows Update to see if later versions are available to download. Updating the Motherboard Bios to the latest version may also help.
