I took the Foreign Service Officer Test during the February 2009 testing window. How will I be notified of the results?
The results of the February 2009 FSOT were available as of March 3. ACT sent you an e-mail notifying you when and how to access your results letter. You will need to use the same personal login ID and password that you used to register for the FSOT. Your test results letter will tell you whether you passed the FSOT. Successful applicants have until 11:59 pm CDT on March 24, 2009 to write and submit the personal narratives. Successful applicants who indicated a working knowledge of a Super Critical Needs Language will be invited to take a telephonic language test. After the Qualifications Evaluation Panel has reviewed the candidacies of all FSOT passers from your test window, you will receive another e-mail directing you to log in again and find out whether you are invited to the Oral Assessment. NOTE: The timing for results will vary for each test administration. The timeframe above is for the February 2009 testing window only.
