You will continue to study for a University of Wales award. The only exception to this would be if your progression through the programme subsequently became non-standard (i.e. leave of absence, repeating a year) and you thereby joined, in order to continue your studies, a cohort of students who were studying for a Cardiff University award. In this case you would receive a Cardiff University award.
