Why would you spray a flammable aerosol lubricant on an electric motor and a belt? There are lots of non-flammable lubricants for the motor bearings/bushings, and belt dressings for the belt. The residue of WD40 is still flammable. While it is unplugged wipe off all excess and it should be OK. Cleaning with a contact cleaner would be best, spraying onto the rag first and wiping the areas treated with the WD40 and avoiding rubber and plastic. Wipe off all WD40 from the belt and pulley and apply belt dressing.
