As told by support, I set opf_hash_join to OFF for default DBMS server and restarted ingres server. It seems like it is not taking any effect. I still see hash joins in my QEP which I do not want. Also, I do not see this parameter in CBF under DBMS Server component. The command I used was: iisetres ii.hostname.dbms.default.opf_hash_join OFF For default DBMS Server you should not be using ‘default’ (as a word) in iisetres command. It should be ‘*’, as follows: Once done, check in CBF and you will be able to see opf_hash_join defined under default DBMS Server component.
