I sent a Completion form back and a certificate or completion notice wasn issued – Why?

If the Completion application form is approved, the Training and Skills Commission will: · issue a completion notice to trainees and apprentices. · issue a Certificate of Competency to apprentices. It may be that the certificate from the RTO did not accompany the completion form. Traineeships and Apprenticeships cover two areas (on and off job training). o On-the-job training is the practical training provided by the employer. o Off-the-job training is the formalised training which is assessed by the RTO. Note that it is sometimes done at the worksite. At the successful completion of all the units of competency (listed on the training plan) the RTO will issue their own certificate. Both the employer’s declaration that the trainee/apprentice is competent on the job, and the certificate from the RTO is required by the Training and Skills Commission as evidence of the successful completion of the apprenticeship or traineeship.
