• A Shipment with a Bid Status of “Ready For Bids” is used when the entire shipment has been entered and it is ready for Carriers to submit bids on. The Bid Status of “Not Ready For Bids” is used when the shipment information is not complete but can still be saved. When a shipment is designated as “Ready For Bids” all fields will be edited prior to being saved. Once a shipment has been saved in “Ready For Bids” status, the system will change the status to “Bidding Opened” after the Bid Start Date/Time has passed.
