Quadraxial cable shield is required for transmission of the ARINC 453 data from the ART-2000 to the indicator or MFD. In some cases, the ARINC 453 data lines can create noise that can be picked up by other systems in the aircraft. The Quadraxial or Quadrax cable can be purchased through Honeywell under P/N 024-00064-0000 which has a List Price of $3.45 per inch ($41 per foot). Although, it is not officially listed in the installation manual, this Quadrax can be purchased under the generic P/N from Southeast Aerospace for $7.50 per foot.
