I see huge semi trucks using our streets as a shortcut to businesses on Wabash and MacArthur. Isnt there some kind of weight limit for our streets?
According Woodside Township Road Commissioner, Don Duffy, our streets are very heavy duty and it would take a lot to damage them. Our streets are rated for 73,000 pounds (thats over 36 tons) and very few trucks are that heavy, even when fully loaded. However, if you see semi trucks routinely taking your street as a shortcut, take note of the company name.
