When the scan was transferred to the PICTURE IT! application, the image was garbled, although grayscale and color scans were fine. The solution is to scan black-and-white images into the PICTURE IT! application by using the Launcher’s PICTURE IT! icon, and your black-and-white scans transfer correctly. • Why does the image always come up in MICROSOFT PICTURE IT! when I try to open the image file from WINDOWS EXPLORER? When you installed PICTURE IT! Software, you probably selected the option to make the PICTURE IT! application the standard (primary) imaging application for opening all image files. To change this, un-install the PICTURE IT! Software and then re-install it. Be sure to click “No” when you see this prompt: “Would you like to use PICTURE IT! as the standard program for working with all pictures?
