WARNING: DO NOT ever do this! The towel trick is one of the worst things you can do to your Xbox 360. It “works” for about 5 or 10 minutes before the Xbox shuts itself down like it’s intended to do when it’s over-heated. You actually fry the circuitry of the motherboard which obviously is not a good thing and can do some serious and permanent damage. I’ve actually seen motherboards that were literally charred from attempting this.
