A3: If you ever have any questions about the Honor Code or the implementation of the Code, please feel free to contact a member of the Honor Committee. If you are a witness to conduct that you feel is a violation of the Honor Code you are obligated by the Honor Code Pledge to report that conduct. The level of evidence that you must have to be obligated to report conduct is not particularly well defined. The best guideline that the Honor Committee can offer is that of Probable Cause. If you reasonably believe that you have witnessed a violation and that a particular person is involved, you are obligated to report the conduct. If feel that you are obligated to report conduct, you may approach a member of the Honor Committee for advice or you may proceed directly to filing the initial referral as spelled out in the Code.
