If you are asking this question then it is a bad idea. The internation money market is very difficult to understand. I have a number of friends who lost out because they had to go abroad and changed their money at the wrong time or tried to change their money to get a high return. Pounds at the moment are low, so if you change them when the pound goes back up, then it will be worth even less. If you want to invest your money find a reliable investment fund or really get into the investment mode. But speculative investment should be reserved for your spare money, not your hard earned savings.

What is your question?
