I saved a file on a lab computer and now its gone. Where did it go?
Never, ever, ever save files on a lab computer! As soon as you log off, any files saved in the My Documents folder, on the Desktop, or somewhere else on a lab computer’s hard drive (C:) will be automatically deleted. To prevent this from happening, make sure you save all of your files to a removable disk (floppy, CD, or USB) or to your personal network folder before you log off.
