• If you moved from out-of-state and need to license a vehicle/personal property that was purchased in another state, we will need to see your out-of-state registration or title to issue a tax waiver. • If you have moved here from out-of-state, but purchased a vehicle/personal property here in Missouri, we will need to see proof of out of state residency, other than a drivers license (e.g. out of state property tax receipt, paid utility bill, state tax return). • If you are a Missouri resident, but moved from another county, we need to see a current paid tax receipt from the county you previously lived in. • If you are moving to Blue Springs from another city within Jackson County you will need to update your mailing address to insure you receive future mailings. Copies of your paid Jackson County tax receipt are available from the Tax Department in City Hall. Each receipt costs $1.00.
