No. The Hartford only assesses certain applications. Most frequently: • If you apply for a level of coverage that is higher than the amount your employer’s group plan guarantees. • If you apply for a higher level of insurance than the amount you currently have. • If you apply for coverage within 31 days of a “qualified change in family status” (such as: marriage, adoption, birth of a child, divorce). • If you apply for coverage outside of your date of hire eligibility period. • My application for coverage was declined.
